FUNCTIONAL NECK DISSECTION IN LARYNGEAL CANCER

S.B. Beyoğlu Hastanesi 28 patients with a diagnosis of larynx carcinoma underwent neck dissection. Functional neck dissection performed in 14 of the patients and radical neck dissection in the others. The initial clinical staging for neck was N0 or N1 in all of the patients. Follow up time was 6 moths to 72 months. The overall recurrence rate was 5% for FND and 12 % for RND. Keywords :
