TREATMENT OF BRONCHIAL CARCINOID TUMOR WITH RADIOTHERAPY AND CHEMOTHERAPY (CASE REPORT)

İ.Ü Radyasyon Onkolojisi ABD A case of histologically confirmed carcinoid tumor of the lung has been reported. The patient's tumor was found unresectable (clinical stage T4N2MX) and the patient received 3 courses of adjuvant chemotherapy (FAM) and primary radiotherapy (5000cGy/25fr/5weeks). The patient has been follow-up 8 years without recurrence. The clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of the tumor are reviewed. Keywords : cardinoid tumor, chemotherapy, radiotherapy
